His spent his youth in Africa. From 1946 to 1950 he studied at the Fine Art School of Montpellier, then from 1952 to 1955 at the Fine Art School of Paris and, finally, from 1955 to 1958, at the Académie André Lhote.

He was 10 when he had the desire to start painting. Subsequently, he went to the Fine Art School of Montpellier, followed by the Fine Art School of Paris.
Whilst studying at the Académie André Lhote, he spent time with the painters in Montparnasse. He formed his technique working alongside such painters as, in particular, Desnoyer, Calvet, Couderc, Descossy and Deleuze. He has a very personal style which makes him stand out from the others. His work is sometimes disconcerting, sometimes violent and turbulent, but often tender with snatches of humour which he liked to include in the texts which accompanied his drawings
Adrien Seguin’s work is completely free of any artifice or deceit. His work appears in galleries in Lyon, Marseille, Toulon, Montpellier, Sète, Béziers, Les Baux de Provence, Oberhaunen, Frontignan, and in worldwide private collections, mainly in the United States and Switzerland.
